Big Red Dot

Big Red Dot is the blog of an English-American guy named Michael John Grist. His best posts are about haikyo, a Japanese hobby where you go out exploring abandoned buidlings. He has some great posts about visiting a failed soapland, hand-dug caverns dug by the Japanese army in World War II, and a deserted mining town.
He’s also a great short-story writer, so be sure to check out the fiction section as well.
